Le Tour de France

Well, we’re back in Reims now and heading back to Paris this afternoon, but a quick rundown of the last few days. We met up with Pip and Ryan on Monday and jumped in the back of the van for 5 days of driving fun. We caught the stage up l’Alpe d’Huez and the stage start the next day in the Bourg d’Oisans where Tristan and I jumped the barriers and spent a good hour or so running around the pits avoiding the Gendamerie and taking some photos of nice bikes and their riders. The stage up the alp was great, too – so much energy and atmosphere and everyone just loving being there. Unfortunately Robbie ignored our calls of “do a wheelie”, but Cadel sure appreciated Ryan’s supportive words. Here are a couple of photos:
